Abstract: A lipoma is regarded as the commonest benign mesenchymal tumor of the body and is ubiquitous in distribution. Intracranial lipomas are rare and account for a mere 0.1% of all primary brain tumors. The intracranial lipomas usually remain asymptomatic unless they are large enough to produce symptoms due to mass effect. Intracranial lipomas are usually asymptomatic and are usually found incidentally. Intracranial lipomas are located in the midline areas. CT and MRI are usually sufficient for the diagnosis of lipomas. We report a case of a 56-year- old male who came to us with vertigo, multiple episodes of vomiting, visual disturbances for 5 years and diagnosed as quadrigeminal plate lipoma. We describe MRI findings with a brief review of the literature. Keywords: Lipoma, quadrigeminal plate, vertigo
